So, I became a dentist when I went and visited my aunt and uncle down in California. They are also dentists. And I went, I saw some extractions, I actually helped with an extraction, and I knew from that point on that I wanted to be a dentist.
I love dentistry because, especially as a general dentist, I have so many options for what I can do for patients. I personally love creating beautiful smiles for them that are also functional. I love the patient care aspect of it.
I love imparting knowledge. If you’ve ever been a patient of mine, you know I can just like go on a little lecture about my favorite subjects. I love that my patients are usually very kind and receptive to that sort of thing, but I love educating patients also.
What I hope my patients come to expect from me as a practitioner and a dental provider is first of all, that they know that I care about them, that I am here to help them, and that I do really good dentistry. I try to do really good dentistry. I want quality dentistry that I stand behind that’s also beautiful.
When I see patients, I want to help them either improve their health or improve the function and the look of their teeth. And I’m always taking all of those three things into account when I work on my patients. I hope that they understand and feel that I take their trust in me very seriously and I love that they trust me with their care and I want to do the best that I can and care about them as people.
